Our composite cylinder trailer offerings are separated based on working pressure of the cylinders used.
250bar/3,600psig Transports
The 250bar transports have a big role in transporting compressed natural gas (CNG) for the gas utility industry, but are also used for transporting other compressed gases such as carbon monoxide (CO), breathing air, argon (Ar), nitrogen (N2), and in some cases, helium and hydrogen.
350bar/5,000psig Transports
Currently, the 350bar transports are relatively small and used in the G-Pak S and XL product lines. There use is primarily for hydrogen applications since they can be filled at most of the growing number of hydrogen refueling stations. This category would also include a line of MicroRefuelers used for small cylinder refueling such as hydrogen powered forklifts, cylinders for fuel cell powered drones, and small composite cylinders.
450bar/6,525psig and 517bar/7,500psig Transports
These very high-pressure transports are almost exclusively used in hydrogen applications since there is established infrastructure to fill them to those pressures. Helium would also be applicable since like hydrogen, these transports can double or triple the payload capacity for the same, or less, weight than conventional steel tube trailers.
Pricing
Rental/lease price schedules shown below are for our most popular leased equipment. While GTL is responsible for normal wear and tear, and cylinder retesting, customers are responsible for normal maintenance, state and local requirements, and any damage or theft of the equipment.
Beyond what is shown below, we do lease a variety of other composite cylinder transports and specialty cylinders so give us a call to discuss that further.
