Hydrogen, the smallest and most abundant molecule in the universe, has also the hardest to transport. Using GTL’s 450bar (6,525psig) transports, it’s now become a lot easier and much more economical. Composite cylinders allow for hydrogen to be stored at higher pressures while keeping the overall weight of the cylinders low which triple the amount of hydrogen that can be transported relative conventional steel tube trailers.
Higher pressure transports make it easier to deliver hydrogen to H2 vehicle refueling stations, provides significant logistical savings to gas distributors, and fills stationary ground storage tanks completely.
Again, GTL leases several sizes ranging from pick-up towable trailers to larger 40’ transports. We even offer units mounted in ISO containers for international shipping. Features on larger transports include self-powered, pneumatic valve actuation with a robust ESD system.
